It’s 1994. I’m ten when I hear our prefab home on the edge of a Herefordshire Valley might be demolished. I don’t fully understand then, but something inside me shifts - who decides what stays or goes?

My work explores the quiet tensions between people, place, and power, sparked by a question, a walk, or a conversation. I work with drawing, writing, painting, and collage - The outcomes include collaborative visual journals, small sculptures from everyday objects, and textile installations.

My practice is rooted in relationships - with others, with land, and with the unseen systems that shape connection. I begin where something is missing - knowledge, presence, or voice - and listen closely.

Since moving to rural Somerset, the landscape has become a collaborator. Its histories and politics inform my work. Projects like Concertina Landscapes, involving 100 participants creating a library of handmade books, invite shared observation and considered noticing.

I create with care and curiosity, opening spaces for overlooked stories and new ideas of belonging.
